Group Homes

The SHC owns and operates eight Medicaid funded family-like homes for adults with developmental disabilities. Dedicated staff provides 24 hour care to help meet the needs of individuals who require a high level of daily living skills assistance or behavioral supports. The homes are located throughout Medina County which allows the men and women to be actively involved in their homes and community. They are able to participate in Special Olympics, grocery shop, walk with staff to the library, clean their rooms and do laundry, play games, and enjoy hanging out with friends and family.
